Every playable character was given a personal photo with a little message to give them some backstory. I used 3d renders of our characters as a base to make it look like it could have been a picture taken in game. We did however not have models of all the characters, so I needed to edit and paint over a lot.
Characters were concepted by André Bengtsson at Redbeet Interactive, and modeled and rigged by Aleksey Svishev at Axolot.
Posing, lighting and painting was done by me.
